FNF Exeter McKenzie/LIP Training Day will be held on 14th Feb 2009

The ONE day course will be delivered by Ruth Glover.
Registration from around 9.15-9.30, Start at 10.00 am.

Suggested cost will be about £10 but this does not include lunch - please
bring a packed lunch. Refreshments will be available during the day.

The training will cover up to and including the first directions hearing
and will effectively be 'Part One'.
Hopefully there will be further course(s) in the future - namely 'Part Two'
to cover more complicated matters and final hearings.

Guest Speaker – Adrienne Cox

Adrienne is a Family Mediator and also worked as a Family Law Solicitor for many years.

Adrienne will talk about the new Contact Activity Orders as a result of the implementation of the Children and Adoption Act 2006 on the 8th December 2008. This includes new powers for enforcement of contact orders and orders for parents to undertake certain activities to make contact work, etc.

Mediator from Devon Family Solutions will give a presentation on the Mediation Service and the services they can provide for families.
